NAPS Names Mark Carlson Chairman of the Board for 2016

 

DAWSONVILLE, GA. Jan. 15, 2016 — The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), the association with the longest and most comprehensive history of professional credentialing in the staffing industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Carlson as Chairman of the Board for 2016. Mark is currently the Senior Vice President & Executive Recruiter at The Suburban Group where he is responsible for the management of sales, recruiting and consultants. The Suburban Group focuses on recruitment for such area as Regulatory, Medical and Clinical Affairs for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

 

Mark’s dedication and commitment to his work and the industry shows with his history of association board positions, certifications, volunteerism and longstanding position with The Suburban Group where he has worked for almost 17 years.

 

“I am truly excited to be the 2016 Chairman of NAPS. I have worked with some great leaders of NAPS over the past few years and continuing to build NAPS into the premiere recruiting and staffing professional organization is something that I am passionate about. I look forward to working with NAPS President, Trinette Cunningham, her team, and the board of directors to bring more value and recognition to NAPS, its members, and the recruiting profession.” 

 

Mark resides in Grafton, Massachusetts with his family.

 

 “We are very happy to have Mark as our new Chairman,” said Trinette Cunningham, NAPS President. “He brings passion and energy to the table and I know that with that, our NAPS team, the fantastic 2016 board and district directors, we have a great 2016 ahead of us.” 

 

Along with Mark Carlson appointed as Chairman, other changes to the NAPS 2016 board include promotions of Mark Barnhart, CERS to Chairman Elect, Bruce Putman to Vice Chairman and Fernando Espinosa, CERS to Secretary/Treasurer. Along with these new promotions came new District Directors added to the roster. Ryan M. Scott, CPC is the new NAPS District 7 Director, Kevin Keifer, CPC the new District 10 Director, Patrick Moya, CPC the new District 9 Director and Teresa M. Delibert, CPC the new District 2 Director.

 

With these districts now fully represented by directors, it is a true testament to the growing involvement of the NAPS members and the strength and growth of the association as a whole.
